SHORT NOVEL CONTEST 2008 "JULIO RAMON RIBEYRO"
BASES 1. The Banco Central de Reserva del Peru (BCRP), in order to contribute to culture, created in 1995 a prize for Literature in the genre short story. On this occasion, the Bank invites all interested Peruvian writers to participate in the contest of 2008.
2. Participants must submit an unpublished novel about free, from 120 to 150 numbered pages in A4 format, double spaced, with 25 lines and 60 characters per line, or from 240.000 to 300.000 characters on a computer.
3. Contestants may not participate simultaneously with the same play in other competitions, and must not show more of a work to it.
4. May not participate in the contest the people who work in the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, or the spouse or relatives up to the 4 degree of consanguinity and affinity Grade 2.
PRESENTATION OF WORK
5. Participants must submit two copies of his work, each in a sealed envelope, identified by his pseudonym.
In a third sealed envelope, which contained the pseudonym only externally and the title of the work, include a sheet with your personal information: names, email, address and telephone, the title of the work, the user ID and a photocopy of your National Identity Document (DNI). The lack of this data sheet invalidates the candidate's participation.
The author will receive a certificate of receipt.
6. The texts will be received from Monday October 1 until Friday, December 28, 2007, in Lima, in the Department of Museum (corner of the shreds Lampa and Ucayali, Lima 1). 7. 8. The jury is composed of five representatives of academia. The jury's decisions are final. CONTEST RESULTS
9. Novella Award consist of a diploma, the publication of the work and the sum of twenty thousand nuevos soles (S /. 20 000.00).
10. The Bank will announce the results of the competition on February 15, 2008.
11. The Bank will present the award at a public ceremony.
12. The Bank reserves the right to publish the winning work within a year. Copyright will be transferred to the Bank for the first edition, subject to the first option for publication in later editions, for which it is considered the formal payment of royalties.
13. The Bank return jobs that have not been awarded in the competition, in the directions indicated by the participants according to the numeral 5.
14. The jury may award the prize.
15. The presentation of a play in this competition implies acceptance of these rules.
