Second Edition



BASES (objectives, profile, vision and mission)

1. ORGANIZERS:
Yacana Foundation and the Bar Zela, institutions highly committed to encouraging and promoting the arts in our country convened the Second Annual International Poetry Contest "Javier Heraud 2009" aimed at young Hispanic artists.
The overall organization of the contest will be in charge of the poets Domingo de Ramos and Vanessa Martinez.

2. CALL:
can participate all Peruvians and foreigners living in the country with the Alien Registration Certificate and academic training or self-taught seniors and children under 45 years of documented, provided that the works were written in English. You may find the competition rules. Entering

3. SUBJECT:
The theme, meter and rhyme are free.

4. SPECIALTY.
Poetry.
5. PRESENTATION:
5.1 .. The poems must form an unpublished poems.
5.2 .. Be considered unpublished work that has been published in part by any printed or digital
.
5.3 .. The minimum size is 500 lines and up to 800
5.4 .. If drafted traditional form must be typed on one side and
A4 paper, with double spacing between lines.
If you type into computer must use Arial 12.
5.5 .. Contestants may submit more than one book of poems to the contest, provided that they do
different pseudonyms.

5.6 .. The poems were submitted in three copies legible, properly collated and paginated
or three diskettes and / or CD Room.
5.7 .. Consigning the corresponding pseudonym in code or by attachment.

6. DOCUMENTATION ATTACHED:
In a separate sealed envelope shall be attached the following documents:
- - Curriculum Vitae including a brief biographical sketch
- - Registration form (to be harvested in the same direction as the foundation)
- - Title and text presenting the work, which should not exceed 25 lines in Word format and printed in A4 .
- - Photocopy of DNI
These should be accompanied by a similar letter size or closed, on the outside appropriated the corresponding pseudonym, and inside the names and surname, identity number, place of birth and home address, email and telephone.

7. AWARDS:
Contest winners will each receive the following awards cash and acquisition work for the organizing institutions.
1st prize: $. U.S. $ 2,000, diploma of honor and publication
2nd prize: $. $ 1000, diploma of honor and publication
3rd prize: $ 500 USD, Publication of the work and diploma of honor
honorable mentions, will be awarded certificate of honor to which the jury deems appropriate.
8. RATING:
may not participate in the contest the people who work in their host institutions, or relatives thereof, relatives nor members of the jury.
The qualification process involves the following steps:


REGISTRATION .- The envelopes will be received from Monday December 21, 2008 and ends Friday, May 1, 2009 inexorably.

AWARDS .-
The award is Friday 26 June. At the award ceremony must attend personally
authors of the winning works, may designate a person who represents

9. JURY

10. RETURN OF WORKS:
The works must be picked up at places where when the registration and delivery, on the date indicated on schedule. After this deadline, Friday, September 28, 2009, ceases all responsibility of the organizers for the delivery of works.

11. FINAL PROVISIONS:
11.1. The submission of the application form for this contest and the works involves the acceptance of bases not admitting any claim.

11.2. Any case not provided in these rules will stir the criterion of the Jury and organizers.
